Luis Franco, M.Fin
President
Luis Franco is the founder of Vertical Engineering and a seasoned Geotechnical and Civil Engineer with over four decades of experience in the industry. Since earning his bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering in 1982, he has built a distinguished career working on major infrastructure and residential projects. Luis also holds a master's degree in Finance, which complements his technical expertise with strong financial and project management skills. His professional background includes extensive work for the public sector, particularly in the design and construction of public roadways and high-rise residential buildings.
Kevin Henao, BSCM
Construction Manager
Kevin Henao is the General Contracting Executive at VECC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Florida International University. With extensive experience in construction estimating and project leadership, Kevin has served as Director of Construction and held key roles at several prestigious general contracting firms across South Florida. His deep industry knowledge and hands-on expertise make him a vital asset in the successful execution of complex construction projects.
Vanessa Diaz, BSBA
HR Director
Vanessa Diaz is the Human Resources Director at VECC. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and brings over a decade of human resources experience in the South Florida region. Vanessa specializes in talent management, organizational development, and HR compliance, playing a key role in fostering a strong company culture and supporting VECC’s continued growth

Regina Diaz is the Financial Executive Director at VECC. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Management. With over 30 years of professional experience across both the public and private sectors, Regina brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic insight to the organization.
